We are excited to announce the launch of our Rent, Try, Buy incentive and within the first two weeks we have already completed the first deal under this promotion. Rent, Try, Buy is ideally suited to tenants looking to purchase their first home, downsizers wanting to try the lifestyle before committing or anyone else whose is keen on taking advantage of favourable buying conditions but is not yet ready or able to commit to an actual purchase.

So how does Rent, Try, Buy work?

At Celsius we are so confident in both our product and the locations that we are willing to allow suitably qualified occupants the ability to rent the property for up to 6 months whilst considering whether to go ahead with the purchase. This removes the significant cost involved of stamp duty and agents fees should things not work out and you change your mind. Assuming all goes according to plan and you do love your new lifestyle, then you can settle on the property at the previously agreed independently valued purchase price.

For a short time only we are able to offer the following added incentive. As long as you settle within the first 6 months of occupying the property, we will credit back to you all the rent you have paid toward the purchase price.

If your circumstances change and you no longer wish to proceed with the purchase then you have simply rented a great lifestyle and brand new property and can stay as a tenant for as long as you like.

Initially the concept was designed with downsizers in mind whose kids have grown up and moved out of the family home. Their lifestyles are now much better suited to “lock up and leave living” but the fear of whether they will enjoy that lifestyle has many sitting on their hands whilst spending the weekends maintaining a large home they no longer need or take full advantage of. In the past couple of weeks we have had many other scenarios presented to us:

  1. Waiting for permanent residency to come through
  2. Saving more of a deposit to avoid mortgage insurance
  3. Waiting for the end of the financial year to complete another years financials for the bank application
  4. Making sure you are making the right decision
