Elysian – 385 Rokeby Road, Subiaco – January 2024
All too often time is lost during the Christmas and New Year break, but I’m pleased to report that this was not the case for Elysian this year. The builder encouraged trades to return early from the break in order to keep the project moving and several of them did exactly that which allowed the build to continue at a steady pace whilst other building sites were closed.
The level 1 apartments are really starting to take shape with the Gyprock being hung and flushed on all of the walls and ceilings. The painters have now commenced their first coat of paint and some of the kitchens have been delivered ready for installation in the coming weeks. Screeding of the internal wet areas floors has also commenced.
Level 2 is not that far behind level 1, with the Gyprock hung to all of the walls and ceilings and the flushing of the joints commenced. Level 2’s kitchens are currently being manufactured and installation will commence in February.
Level 3 is currently having the mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and fire services installed. The majority of the walls have had Gyprock hung but the ceilings are still open as works continue within the ceiling space.
Level 4’s wall frames have been constructed and electrical, hydraulic and fire service installation has commenced.
The structural steel for the building’s roof has arrived and is currently being erected on level 5. The roof deck which will house many of the building services has been poured, stripped and the props removed.
I look forward to updating you next month, but should you have any queries or would like to enquire about one of the unsold apartments please feel free to contact me on (08) 6144 0700 or 0451 533 440.
