Elysian October Project Update
The finishing line is in sight and the builder and Celsius are working as hard as they can to ensure the building is finished in time for the buyers to take possession in December.
The following progress was made during October:
External:
- Application of the polished plaster to the building’s façade is nearly completed with approximately 5% outstanding.
- The footpath and kerbing along Rokeby Rd and Duke St have been re-laid.
- Construction of the wooden component of the parklet is well underway.
- Planting of the landscaping is 80% completed, with most of the established trees craned into place.
Internal:
- Basements: The line marking for the car park has been completed. Tiling of the entrances to the lifts is underway and this is the last remaining item to complete in the basements.
- Ground Floor: Work continues in the resident lobbies, with both close to 80% completed.
- Levels 1 & 2: The apartments are completed and are ready for the buyers to undertake their practical completion inspections which will commence on 4th November. The wood panelling in the common area corridors has been installed and laying of the carpet will commence tomorrow.
- Level 3: All apartments are completed. Both the builder and Celsius have completed their snag lists and the trades have nearly finished rectifying the identified issues.
- Level 4: The apartments are completed and have been cleaned. The builder and Celsius are currently undertaking their snag lists with trades following close behind rectifying any identified issues.
- Level 5: The apartments are very close to being completed with the stone benchtops, timber floorboards and carpets having been installed. The electricians and plumbers are completing their final fit off before the cleaners will commence cleaning the apartments in one weeks time. The communal area only needs its appliances to be installed and a couple of planter boxes to be completed.
