4 Downey Drive, Manning – Project Update June 2018
June was an extremely wet month, which resulted in 5 working days being lost to rain delays. However, despite this minor setback good progress was still made onsite by the builder.
The bricklayers reached plate height on the upper apartment, which allowed the roof carpenters to frame up and sheet the apartment and the last remaining townhouse. Roof cover is now completed across the entire development.
The plasterers and painters have rendered and painted the upper external level and the scaffold was dropped today to allow the plasterer to start on the upper floor render and float coat.
Internally, the electricians and plumbers have finished tubing the upper floors which has allowed the commencement of the white set coat of plaster.
Construction is still on schedule with practical completion anticipated for December this year.
