A great deal of progress was made on site during May. The bricklayers reached plate height on all of the townhouses and should achieve the same on the upper apartment in the coming days. This milestone then allowed the roof carpenters to construct the roof frames on the rear two townhouses. These two townhouses have since had their gutters installed and roofs sheeted. The roof carpenters are currently working on the final townhouse and then will move onto the upper apartment.
Having achieved roof cover on the rear two townhouses, the electricians and plumbers were back onsite chasing in the upper floor runs. They will follow through with the remaining townhouse and apartment when they also achieve roof cover.
Once the electricians and plumbers are finished, the plasterers will follow behind applying the internal float coat.
Construction is still on schedule with practical completion anticipated for December this year.
