Elysian – 385 Rokeby Road, Subiaco – March 2024
Work progressed at a steady rate throughout March with the biggest milestones being the sheeting of the building’s roof and the removal of the crane. With the completion of the roof sheeting and all of the air conditioning and hydraulic systems having been craned into place on the roof services deck, the crane is no longer needed. The material hoist which is attached to the side of the building will be used for delivery of all future building materials.
Internally, the 1st floor’s laundry, bathroom and ensuite cabinets continue to be installed. Wet areas have had their floors tiled and the wall tiling is progressing. The electrician has commenced fitting off the ceiling lights. Floor leveling has commenced to those rooms which will have floorboards laid. Painting of balcony soffits and walls has commenced and the robe frames have been installed.
The 2nd floor has had all kitchens installed. Waterproofing of the wet areas has been completed and robe frames installed.
The focus for the 3rd floor has been to complete hanging the plasterboard to all of the walls and ceiling, with all apartments now completed.
The majority of the walls and half of the ceilings’ plasterboard has been hung on the 4th floor.
Now that the roof has been sheeted, the internal stud frame walls have started to be erected and the fire and electrical prelays commenced on the 5th floor.
