Park Terraces – June 2021 Update
During the month, the builder managed to pour the entirety of the second floor slab. The slab was poured in two halves with terraces 1 to 6 being poured a few weeks before terraces 7 to 12, which has allowed terraces 1 to 6’s slab to be stripped and loaded with bricks. The bricklayers will commence shortly on constructing the second floor party walls for terraces 1 to 6, and the same will occur with terraces 7-12 within the next fortnight.
Down on the first floor the internal timber framing has commenced. The plumbers and electricians have also made good progress on installing their services.
Unfortunately, due to the wet weather experienced during the month there was no time gained on the construction program. Despite these challenges, some progress has been made on floating the terraces’ ground floor internal walls and we are still currently aiming for a February 2022 completion.
