Vic Quarter – Project Update September 2019
There is a lot of activity on site as Vic Quarter moves into its final month of construction.
Externally the scaffold is now almost completely dropped and work has begun on the canopies to Albany Highway and Miller Street.
All screens have been installed on the balconies and the last of the planter boxes have also been installed.
On the pool deck the washed aggregate concrete deck has now been poured and the pool lining is complete.
Planter boxes have been waterproofed and Tim Davies Landscaping are commencing planting on the upper levels and working their way down the building.
Inside of the apartments are now almost complete with the final paint touch ups currently taking place.
Work will commence on the tiling to the lobbies next week and the x-bond render is being applied to all the feature walls and lobby floors.
The gym flooring and mirrors have been installed on level one and the cleaners are now working their way through the building.
Work is now well underway in commissioning the building’s electrical, hydraulic and fire services.
All service engineers are completing their final inspections so that final certifications can be provided to our BCA consultant who will sign the building off so that an occupancy permit can be lodged and the application for new titles can be submitted.
We have also commenced works fitting out a marketing suite on the ground floor in preparation for our official launch.
Six display apartments will also be fully furnished ahead of the public launch at the end of October.
This will be a truly unique opportunity to come and inspect a building on completion where none of the apartments have been sold off-plan.
If you want to find out more about this opportunity prior to the public launch, please register your details at www.vicquarter.com.au
We look forward to updating you on progress next month when we expect the building to be all but complete!
Regards,
Matt Evans
