Whatley Apartments – Development Update May 2016
I’m pleased to report that construction is now effectively completed with only a few very minor items to be finalised. Practical completion will hopefully be granted early next week once the builder has finalised their testing and certification process.
We are extremely pleased with how the apartments have turned out and the feedback from buyers to date has been extremely positive.
Our surveyor is currently finalising the strata plan and we are hopeful of lodging for titles at Landgate on Monday. Unfortunately we have recently been informed by Landgate that they are experiencing longer than normal delays and they have estimated it may take between 6 to 8 weeks before titles issue. We will do everything within our power to accelerate this process but unfortunately we are at the mercy of Landgate. Once titles have issued buyers will have 21 days to settle.
